I would highly recommend looking into this album if you already haven't. Read into the lyrics lean about the time frame it was made. There's so much history to this album and it has so much meaning behind it once you look past the music. Also it was recorded during a week-long jam session between him and his friends. Not knocking but should understand the meaning behind the album before you buy it and not just going with the hype.

Edited 3 months agoAT-LP120XUSB with some JBL 305P MKll speakers. Sounds incredible. I’m tired of hearing about your shitass broke boy setups. It’s never the pressing. It’s your garbage turntable.

Couldn’t ask for a better pressing. Shoutout Mac’s family for putting these dope projects out!! Faces & Balloonerism are gonna go down as classics. Our kids gonna bump this. RIP EASY MAC WIT THE CHEESY RAPS

This album is bad it is just a long jazz experiment. To me it felt like 4 side lLP recording of an unfinished rehearsal. It wouldn’t have been so bad if they just called it what it was and sold it at discount. Not worth the retail $40.

Edited 4 months agoMy "exclusive white vinyl" came without the hype sticker on the packaging which is kind of interesting. Will come back with an edit regarding play testing soon.
Edit: Cleaned each side once and the record played through well, with only one pop on side C. -
Not the greatest quality, but compared to the black version, the white actually sounds noticeably less noisy; not that I have a particularly trained ear or stellar hardware. I would say it comfortably does the job.

Gave it a clean first and only a slight hint of surface noise remains, plays nicely with strong low end

Technics SL 1210 MK2, Stanton 500 cartridge, 1st Rega pre.
Mate brought this around thinking it was good, he said it sounded the bom on his 30 quid awful charity shop vinyl player. This lads a hipster.
I have nothing against Mac Miller.
This press was not very good, it's that kind of bad quality the hipsters accept.
Noisy.
Slight lack of dynamics.
Lack of definition to the bass.
People who think this press is good quality wise, probably have a twisty moustache and need to ease off those Starbucks soy lattes.
