Just got my repress of this in the mail today and there's a ton of background noise throughout both sides (worse on Side A, but still present on Side B) :(

Finally got my record from RT. Sounds phenomenal and worth the wait imo. even though this was the repress, I was given the CD which was very cool. One thing to note for anyone with a pickup order for this from RT: I think the system change they did messed up this preorder (at least for me) and I was not even notified that it was ready for pickup. Luckily I went to get another record and it was there so if you aren't hearing anything, give them a call/email and they'll give you better info on where it might be -
Rough trade oversold which is what prompted the repress so now I have to wait until the repress is out… very upsetting they’d mess up that bad because I placed the preorder as soon as it launched but still haven’t received my copy :( also as a collector, kinda hate that I’m not getting the first edition but I’ll get over that

A beautiful album by Oklou. It evokes feelings and you can hear it at any time of the day. To lie in the grass with headphones, to close your eyes and just enjoy is 😍

got my copy in the mail today and it sounds great! i do hear some surface noise or sibilance on side B around 'forces' and 'harvest sky' but it's not enough to take me out of the listening experience. the color of the record is sooo gorgeous, it fits the album most! the bonus CD with the extra tracks was a nice addition to the overall packaging. i love this record!
