Edited 2 months agoJust listened. Sounds great. No ticks/pops. Minute amount of the most quiet noise I’ve ever heard. And I’m talking minuscule amount. Sounds like a record from the 70’s… record came 98% flat. Just the slighhhtest wobble. Honestly very happy with this pressing. I’m just being nitpicky for the freaks out there who find the smallest thing to bitch about. Im fully satisfied. EQ is great. Soundstage/channel separation is great.

Not a great sounding pressing. Very muffled/veiled sounding especially on Little Child Runnin’ Wild. My copy also has a pretty bad warp to it. What a shame -
pretty clean press! The first track sounded a little compressed but then PUSHER MAN!! No question about compression after that. Nice mix too

The original rhino reissue from 2009 had the original packaging with the tracks printed on the flap. The new represses do not. Possibly a new variation is in order

Edited 2 years agoJust bought this sealed brand new, but it doesn't have the hype sticker and it also doesn't have the text on the back of the flap. However, the catalog number, barcode and runout info seem to match this release. Does anyone know anything about this?

What I’m guessing is the “nonfill” issue noted is a persistent, fuzzy distortion in both channels. My prior experience with infill has always been more of an intermittent, short bust kinda issue rather than this an ongoing and ever present high frequency distortion. -

If you can't afford the Mofi, a great second choice.
