Got my copy for $2 at a record show. It’s beat to crap and looks unplayable yet somehow plays and sounds alright. There’s something about these old mono LPs - they take much more of a beating than stereo copies for some reason.

The drums sound is more natural, too. You can tell that Joe Morello has skin drum heads. The stereo imaging is all over the place and it fucks up the drums.

Wow! I've been listening to this in stereo my whole life. The mono is a revelation! Especially the bass.
