-
Probably the most experimental Black Keys album, but really recommended. The sound is nice, not excellent but not bad, and there is no background noise after a simple cleaning.
-
My copy spins perfectly flat and sounds fantastic! Warm full bass…crisp highs…no surface noise at all. Very pleasantly surprised based on the other comments.
-
Some surface noise on the first run but got rid of it after cleaning.
Sounds ok, a bit compressed, soundstage is not big, bass is decent. A solid pressing, happy to own it. -
This one was quite noisy the first play through and I was pretty disappointed but after a trip through the spin clean it’s much quieter. Not too shabby. Worth the 20 bucks.

Edited 3 years agoThere's considerable surface noise on Side B but it's quiet and unintrusive enough that it doesn't greatly affect my enjoyment of the record.
edit: after cleaning the record I've added an extra star to my rating. -
Other than some groove distortion on first track, the rest is excellent. Hopefully rectified with a good cleaning. Side two is excellent. Must have gotten lucky.
-
It’s too bad because I love this album, but it sounds awful. Most of the first side sounds all distorted and high pitched/compressed. Stay away - stay far away 😒
