I originally had no plans to buy ‘No Plans’ as I was hesitant to hear Chisel with another drummer after ‘Twentieth Century’ failed to live up to my personal expectations... But upon obtaining the double LP via the 2015 Box Set, and deciding to play it, I suddenly changed my mind, and finally went to buy it. And I’m glad I did! The title track is a super song, and I was also impressed with other songs such as ‘HQ454 Monroe’, ‘Too Late’, ‘Our Old Flame’, and especially ‘All For You’, and ‘I Got Things To Do’. Even though Steve Prestwich’s vocals were just originally just a guide vocal, I’m glad Kevin Shirley made that screw-up and chose Steve’s vocals, because it shows that he had an amazing voice (especially after watching ‘Ringside’ on DVD, I knew he should’ve sang more lead vocals, but that’s just my opinion). No disrespect to Sir Richard Starkey, (yes I called Ringo by his real name, lol), but Steve was, in my personal opinion, the best drummer to ever come from Liverpool. Rest In Peace mate :)
