This is the only way to fully enjoy the sound of this album, sadly all of the other versions i've heard have pale in comparison, sad that this is so expensive. Maybe in of sound it tends to be too bright but everything here sounds defined and Quorton's voice sounds incredible.
9/10
Mine also didn't came with a lyrics sheet* -
I have the lyric sheet for this but I don't have the album. I did have it but don't what happened to it - probably sold or swapped. The lyric sheet I thought was lost, but was inside another LP.
I never had the opportunity to compare but have been happy with my CD version from the early 2000s. Now I'm curious.
However I have the latest (2014?) 180 gram vinyl of "The Return" and I'm happy with that, it sounds great and does sound better than the remastered CD but then again it's all about the Hi Fi equipment one player to another, one phono card to another etc.
