This pressing sounds terrific. Not my favorite Bowie album, but no complaints on the sound quality of this pressing.
-
Such a great master release. Very clear and the full seventies sound. I have this in different formats but this one is my favorite
-
May be my favorite Bowie album. Pretty solid all the way through. Reminds me a lot of John Lennon's Walls and Bridges album. Same flavor, if you know what I mean.
-
Mine skips like a motherfucker on Fame...the song I bought the album for...but it's all good. I got it dirt cheap so y'know.
Bowie's "Plastic Soul" is corny at times but usually just great. Would make this sound more his own on Station to Station and the funkier Berlin era tracks -
Awesome pressing. My copy is far from mint and yet the vinyl is super quiet and the mix is hot. One of my most played
-
Regarding the orange and tan labels . I have seen Young Americans ( this catalog number) and also Aladdin Sane with a tan label on side one and an orange label on side 2. Anyone know anything about this ? I have gone through the US releases on both and see nothing about having both colors labels on 1 LP.
