This is an excellent record. Sound quality and Mix are outstanding. There is no problem with crowd levels and complaining about track times and titles is ludicrous. The recordings on this are great. I'm not even a huge U2 fan but the quality of this recording make it a great live album to own.

Edited 3 years agoI really appreciate a good live album, and this one checks that box beautifully. From the opening riff of Gloria, you know you are in for a treat. Bono's stage patter and communication with the audience during the songs is engaging and entertaining. Having seen this band several times in their prime, this is an honest group of musicians, delivering good music to their fans.
Recording is excellent, though the crowd cheering is a little loud for my liking, but comes down during the important parts of songs, such as the breakdown of "I Will Follow".
This is a great adjunct to your first 3 or 4 U2 records -
Where to start with the sloppiness of Island Records with this release. Just because Bono verbally short-handed the title of "Trash, Trampoline and the Party Girl" to "Party Girl" on stage, they went with that title for the track? Was "The Cry" considered part of "Electric Co."? Next: Given that the track times on the actual label (pictured here) are each completely inaccurate, I wonder if they ran a stop watch from the first note of each song to the last, rather than going with the actual track lengths? Because Bono's introductions aren't considered part of the song? If you can get your hands on this version, this is the one that contains snippets of "America" and "Send in the Clowns" within "The Electric Co.," before the absence of rights to the songs forced an edit in later versions. It's not hard to guess why these two songs (snippets) aren't credited.
