The album music is fantastic 10/10 the quality of the recording and pressing on this version however can’t be recommended. The orange color is cool but the sound quality isn’t so good in my opinion. -
I like this record yet i am really annoyed how there is a black bar in the cover of all the reissues. -
Edited 4 years agoIt's funky as hell, yeah. But the sound reproduction is filthy. It COULD be the pressing, or the coloured vinyl, but I'm pretty sure it would've been just as filthy back in '69 too. In fact it sounds like it may have been mastered from a 1969 LP rather than the tapes!
Ok....the drums are amazing....but really, if they had the engineering on it that Booker T had on his records, say, it would've been amazing. -
