I was shocked at how good this sounded. For an album that is murky to start with this one might be as clear as any pressing I have of this album with better instrument separation and the bass is good if not quite as strong as the Monarch. Much clearer than the Sonic. Sometimes these Record Club of America presses surprise you positively like this one and not always the opposite. I had similar luck with them with a Led Zeppelin release.

For my ears this US 1971 pressing and release is a great cut (deep bass but not saturated, very dynamic).
That's what I expect from an audiophile point of view, it is quite bluffing!!
Worth every pounds I paid for.

I can also confirm the A4/B4 CBS UK cut was disapointing in comparison (flat, poor bass and dull).
I bought both versions of this LP to make my own opinion (as I know sound / music is a personal & subjective experience)

For me the US pressing is outstanding.
A collectible item and a journey back in the 70's.

How is this one different than this one really? Is it a different pressing?
