great album! to my ears the 1986 repress sounds better than the first pressing.

Great album, but the cutting is not the best to my ears. A little dull and both sides on the record become quieter and quieter from the first to the last song. Matrix engraving reads "Digital Mastering by SNB", maybe that was the wrong decision. I prefer the COMBAT pressing. The production itself is not really great (way too much summary compression), but musically, this album is a furious massacre.

My copy of this has no bar code on the back cover but has a bar code sticker in the bottom right corner but the bar code on the sticker isn't the EAN for this release.

One of the all time great Euro thrash albums. a little unhinged, a little loose and the original pressings have the 'pok pok' harmonics every time the guitars hit their strings, but the material itself stands alone as a massive ode to the energy and frenetic potential realised of this type of sonic assault. The speed is excellent, Mille's vocals are superbly fresh (as are Ventor's, especially in the classic Riot Of Violence), the drumming suitably deep and threatening to lose control, but pulling up and puting it all together, the riffs menacing, that I still play on my guitar to this day, the bass non existent. No need to forget Extreme Aggression or Terrible Certainty, however this is the heart of Kreator at their finest for me.
