def worth grabbing. anyone present during the early 1980's know it was a supreme time for great funky dance music. this bobby thurston relase is bonafide master smash hit. CHECK OUT THE GROOVE made noise on the radio and nightclub scene in the states, while YOU GOT WHAT IT TAKES became a major underground dance floor smash, places like nyc garare, dc clubhouse, l.a.'s, catch one. r&b radio got on the SITTIN IN THE PARK cover, easily his strongest material any soulful dance music lover will appreciate.

Title track is definitely the standout track, with some really great guitar work & some nice keys towards the end. "I Want Your Body" is decent and the cover of Billy Stewart's "Sittin' In The Park" ain't bad either. A solid, if not slightly forgettable Prelude release.
