Absolute stonker of an EP. Shows how frankies visits to the UK influenced that US sound. Those breaks those stabs. Sampletastic but brilliantly used. Total lesson in sampling he obviously learned from the greats like coldcut and early klf

My XL UK 12' is a mispress. Side A is a US 1960s garage compilation. Anyone else got a pressing like this? I have not looked into the artists but it is definately 1960s US garage .

Edited 19 years agoThis is Frankie Bones and Lenny Dee at their best. Typical early Brooklyn styled House music under their pseudonym "Looney Tunes". If you are into early Nu Groove stuff then this is THE one to buy! The track "Another Place, another place" (Brixton Bass Remix) contains a bassline sample from "Breathe" of Pink Floyds Album "The Dark Side of the Moon". The track "Inject the beat" contains the "clock ring" sample from the track "Time" of the same album by Pink Floyd.
