Holy hell, this is awful. Not the album, of course, but the pressing. I lost the original 1993 issue along the way somewhere and was thrilled to come across this repress, until I put it on the turntable. This sounds like it was mastered from a Type 1 cassette dub of the ‘93 CD with the volume oversaturated. Really wish the SST/Cruz ALL albums would get quality reissues like the Interscope and Epitaph ones have.

Sounds like shit to be frank. I saw this pop up on the SST store a few weeks ago and decided to grab it. I'm curious to hear an original pressing to see how it compares but this sounds almost like the lathe was cut from a cassette version of the album – really bizarre duplicated tape sounding vibes. Maybe they lost the original tapes and made a master from the cassette version? Would love to know what happened…

My version of this sounds fine even with the 595 runout. This was never a good sounding recording to begin with.

This version sounds awful. I have a near mint vinyl that I carefully cleaned, no surface noise or between the tracks. It just sounds like sh*t, (sorry). Like hearing a third generation tape through a broken speaker. Unbelievable.
