This pressing is beyond phenomenal. Best sounding record I have ever heard, no lie. It's almost like J.J. Cale is right in front of you in of sound. Whatever price you pay for it, it's worth it. -
Wow! Found another gem I did not know I had. This sounds about as good as vinal gets. APP050 J.J. Cale Troubadour. Sweet! I think this makes the hand full I'm keeping.

Edited 4 years agoThis sounds absolutely unbelievable...It really is a shame that J.J. Cale doesn't get any attention when it comes to high quality pressings. My other 2 albums that I own sound ok but man, this AP pressing is in another league completely. It is so alive and mastered properly, I couldn't believe when I first dropped the needle. I pray that one day AP will release more J.J. Cale because I think it will do justice for an artist that is not widely known but yet the influence of some of the greatest guitarists of all time such as Mark Knopfler and Eric Clapton.
J.J. Cale, the king of cool. Highly recommend.
To be listened with a glass of bourbon/scotch. -
