So pleased with this one and didn't have to pay top dollar for an original UK 'first corrected cut'! This is the A-2, B-2 repress, and has great dynamics, range and energy! I don't have any other pressings to compare to, but I don't need to seek any others now.

Good lord this sounds good!!! It's unbelievable that this press isn't priced as silly as all other Pink Floyd UK presses. This album is the intro to Dark Side of the Moon and this press sounds as good as a first press of DSOTM! The pressing is also unbelievable. As silent as any new audiophile label

This is a much lighter, folksier album from Pink Floyd. It's quite nice to have on in the background. There are some great VCS 3 synth sounds the open the first track. Sounds wonderful on the stereo! For me, there isn't really any standout tracks on Obscured By Clouds, however. But the boys had so many albums by the time Pink Floyd was done, it's nice to have a "lazy day" album that also has some bite.
Also nice is that this 1973 copy sounds very good. Mastering was up to snuff at EMI/Harvest this year.
