The DVD-ROM portion has 192-kbit/s MP3 files of the entire album. The DVD-Video portion contains both a "high-resolution audio" track (96 kHz/24-bit stereo LPCM) as well as a 5.1 surround-sound track (448 kbit/s Dolby Digital, 48 kHz). There is no DVD-Audio content on the disc.

I'm upset I never knew this existed before yesterday! This would have made an excellent bonus disc to a Special Edition version of the album. Never the less, now that I have found it, I can say, I have never heard Snakes and Arrows this good before! Everything is crisp and clear and you can make out each instrument and part distinctly. And I'm also picking up on things I never noticed before in the songs. Along with the 5.1 soundtrack, there is a great informative and fun documentary on the Making Of Snakes and Arrows to watch. To any Rush fan who can get their hands on this, do it!
