This Vinyl is good, but also it could be better. It sounds at some points not that overwhelming as it should. But overall it's decent und could be much worse. Still happy to have this great album on vinyl in my shelf.
-
Edited 4 years agoTerrible sounding press. Better off with the CD or FLAC versions. This Vinyl is pure brick walled with poor dynamics..

this sounds ridiculously good lmfao. WAY BETTER than I ever expected from a reissue from an early 2000s album
-
I only had problems with Runaway. By Myself for example sounds great and clear but I have to say that this is the first vinyl I listen to with my new tube pre-amp and this thing has to "warm up" for about 100 hours...

Generally speaking, I don't agree with opinion that there is a loudness war on this one. This is simply the signature of the era and recording using digital masters, this particular album was born in rather difficult circumstances for the band, hence is sound like is sounds. They simply couldn't afford to throw money into production and mix. I doesn't sound bad at all, when compared to the original 2000 cd, which I have, played on well balanced system it sounds rather very good to me. I'm more than happy with this release. I was thinking to get another one, although after listening session I'm definitely keeping this one.

Edited 7 years agopressed at Pallas was expecting something far better no dynamics or depth to the sound really disapponting.
-
Was my first Linkin Park release and expected so much more familiarity, not only are there 3 songs I know but only 3 songs that are good.
-
Loudness War mode on in this one. Only 3 or 4 tracks are good to listen to. Better look for previous releases, I don't recommend this one.
