Edited 12 months agoI’ve nothing to compare this to but it certainly sounds like a nice pressing, unlike some digital to vinyl reissues which are completely thin and lifeless.
Virtually no surface noise and has nice depth to it.
Sympathetic treatment of a must have album if (like me) you are a fan of early Pink Floyd.

Pressing seems to have been done with care. Extremely quiet on heavyweight vinyl. Mildly compressed and certainly sourced from digital, but who cares? Mick Rock's cover photography was almost certainly sharper on the original.

love this pressing, good quite vinyl, Syd's guitar and voice are vibrant like all the music here, feels like he's in the room at times, a real wow for me. I really enjoyed the 2014 'Barret' album of the same label too, not quite a wow but good, tempted to buy 'Opel' on harvest too.

This is a very good reissue. I was actually pleasantly surprised by how great this sounds! It is possible that this was pressed from high-res digital files as most modern reissues are, but you couldn't tell by listening to it as it sounds very analog. The sound is rich all across the range, warm and natural. It's very well pressed and very little surface noise is audible. You will get good value for money with this pressing. I doubt the original pressing sounds any better, to be honest - this is probably the best audio that would be possible to get from those recordings. Nice gatefold sleeve as well - replica of the original ofc.

Incredible pressing. One of my favourite albums ever. The record is dead silent and I believe everything is a replica of the original press.
