The LP have labels and matrix/runout identical to Kranky release.
All songs/sounds recorded in Aljezur, Portugal in 2011 at a residency coordinated by Galeria Zé dos Bois. Except track B2, recorded @ Mom's in Petaluma.

Also a quick note, the artwork that appears on the Kranky version does not appear in any shape or form on this deluxe edition....Sadly. Don't get me wrong this is a beautiful work of art...but the cover art on the standard issue is equally breathtaking! Great job Liz!!

To anybody interested in this version of Ruins that didn't get a copy themselves, this was available on a one per person basis, solely through emailing Liz directly to reserve a copy. She had originally intended on publishing a 1000 copies, but due to time restraints, limited the print edition to only 500. Liz has also said that if these sell well, she intends to release a second 500 batch of this self released edition when she has more time. The second pressing will have artwork with an inverted color scheme, but in all other ways it will be exactly the same.
