A classic EP, the highlight of which has to be the Black Dog remix of Le Soleil Et La Mer, which takes the track in a totally different direction to the original with a sparser, subtler arrangement that is ultimately much more rewarding than the cuddly original and is one of my very favourite ambient tracks ever. The rest of the EP is also excellent, well up to the standard of the Reload album.

I totally disagree with the above comment. The Black Dog Productions (Plaid) remix of Le Soleil Et La Mer is mediocre to say the least. I was excited when I first checked the track listing out when I bought the CD. It had tracks from Black Dog Productions, Global Communication and a B-Side from A Collection Of Short Stories. Then when I heard the Black Dog mix I was just totally turned off. By the time the end of the CD I was wondering why such a bad remix was placed on such an excellent EP. But all was forgotten when I heard the Global Communication remix of the Biosphere. This is one of my favorite Global Communication tracks of all time. The EP also has Le Soleil Et La Mer and the original Biosphere which are also two amazing tracks. This is definiatly a highly recommended disc, just skip over the Black Dog Productions track, for your own sake.
