Ok so this is the 25th anniversary edition of this timeless album. I will say it sounds great. Wide sound stage and very nicely done. I do have one problem... where did the bass guitar go? The original Sire release has amazing sound and the bass guitar rips...it has a lesser soundstage but it "rocks" harder. So get both if you can. -
Hi. Anyone else have experienced problems ripping the CD to mp3 with the first track "The Cutter"?? When I rip it in higher qualities the mp3 sounds distorted (and it doesn't happen with the rest of the tracks). I had to lower the quality to 192 kbps to get it right. It seems weird to me and never occurs with other CDs.

Edited 9 years agoA 25th anniversery version of a 1983 album should have been released in 2008. This one is from 2003. I am puzzled!
edit: Could be the 25th anniversary of the band of course.
