Notes
UK repress in fully laminated cover on orange/plum labels with publishing credits on two lines.
Poly-lined 'Plastic Bags Can Be Dangerous' company inner sleeve with 'British Patent No. 800513 & 973939' and 'Made In England'.
First catalogue number on cover, 2nd on labels.
Similar to this LP, but without the grey stripe at bottom on front and slightly different font on labels.
(Actually all original UK covers have this grey stripe, but it is not always equally visible. This depends on how the cover was folded and is subject to variations. Here it is only visible on the edge.)
Unlike this version, the publishing credits are printed in two lines on the labels.
This version may still have been released in 1969 or 1970, but 1971 is most likely, as several confirmed original inner sleeves have dates from 04/71 onwards.
[Labels]
• ℗ 1969
• Under licence from Atlantic Recording Corpn., U.S.A.
• 'MADE IN Gt. BRITAIN' at top.
• 'POLYDOR RECORDS LIMITED' at bottom.
[Cover]
• Fully laminated with orange lettering.
• Under licence from Atlantic Recording Corp. USA.
• Manufactured by Polydor Records Ltd., London.
• Printed and made by MacNeill Press Ltd., London, S.E.1.
B5 shows an erroneous track duration on cover and label of 3:30 instead of the actual 8:28.
Publishing:
• Tracks A1, A2, A4, B1 to B3, B5: Warner Bros./7. Arts.
• Tracks A3, B4: Jewel Music.
Runouts are stamped.
• Side A: The second '8' from left has been crossed through and corrected above with an etched '8'.

I have this, the variant 8 LP, but the sleeve is showing some differences to my earlier variant 6 copy sleeve, and to the variant 8 SLEEVE which is listed here. My variant 8 sleeve has NO grey stripe, but the information on the rear is different, and the spine states K40031, not 588171. The rear states "An ATLANTIC record distributed by WEA RECORDS LTD. Printed and made in England by CMCS Print & Colour Ltd". This sleeve I have is also larger than my variant 6 sleeve, the record itself fits in better. There is also NO "UPTIGHT AN' OUTASIGHT" stuff printed on it. I do have the 1972 UK reissue LP of this album too, where the sleeve is different again. Any idea of when Atlantic stopped using the 588171 catalogue number on the sleeves? My variant 6 copy has the K40031 STICKER, over the older information in the top right corner.
