the recording is great, and you hear some versions of songs, like Every Colour You Are, with great live embellishments. My fave track is the title track. to my knowledge there is no studio release of this song anywhere in Sylvian's discography. this needs a vinyl release, no question.

Phenomenal live album. Sylvian & Fripp work together so well, and they perform much better live than in-studio (which is to be expected from Fripp)

This is one of my favorite CDs of all time. I purchased the original version in 1995 at a Virgin Megastore. I prefer this Fripp produced version compared to the remaster done by David Sylvian. This version is more spacious and eerie sounding, while the Sylvian version is louder. Both are recommended.

Edited 6 years agoBelieve it or not this was a live recording the dynamic and sound is as impeccable as the musicianship. Tops recording every fan of intelligent rock music should have in their home library next to Douglas Adams Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy!
