This one has a raised ring towards the outer edge of the labels.
The ring on the labels appeared as a result of mould changes at the Philips plant in 1974. We can say that this is a 1974-1976 edition, since by 1977 the label had switched to RSO.

I have an edition with the exact same label but no raised ring towards the outer edge , and matrix : 583059 A//1 ▽ 420 1 ▽ 2 14 & 583059 B//1 ▽ 420 1 1 11 18 (not referenced on discogs) . Does anyone know the year of release ? -
Does anyone else have a pressing where side A is: "George Hurst Conducts Elgar and Vaughan Williams...". I have a misprint I'm sure but I can't find any info on it...?

Edited 6 years agoThis is a great pressing of an iconic album. A real meeting up of great musicians at the peak of psychedelia. Coming up on its 50th anniversary soon. It would be hard to imagine what an update is going to sound like. This is good enough to not wonder too much though. Bought it new as an import when I was a kid in the states. Wanted quality pressings since I became aware of them early on.
