A great collection of songs. I was familiar with a few of the hits, but I greatly enjoyed discovering the songs that were new to me. I think it sounds fantastic, but I don’t have an original pressing to compare it to. If you are buying new, you will be rewarded if you seek out this pressing.

Superb sound! Grandma’s Hands sounds like I’m in the studio
Who’d have thought a 33rpm could sound this good -
Just wanted to say I have limited edition #115018
So when they say 'numbered, limited edition', they aren't kidding. At a minimum, if mine is the very last one, there are only a little over a hundred and fifteen thousand of these 👍😂 -
Edited 9 months agoI’ll confirm 99% of the reviews here and say that this sounds fantastic. Mine had no flaws, no distortion as others have experienced. I also disagree that this sounds “sterile”. It sounds warm and natural to my ears. If I had to pick between a crackly old original and this, I’d go with this. No contest. And I don’t even like Mofi as a whole and Absolutely Despise digitally mastered vinyl, lol. I DO have to say, while this sounds Excellent… Mike at the In Groove needs to dial down his reviews on this. It is NOT “like listening to versions you never heard”. It is In Fact, Exactly how it Should be heard! It’s certainly not what he claims, but again it Is fantastic. ALL records should sound this good.

This Has that typical MFSL house sound, all of them sound the same no matter if its DSD or AAA , If you like THE MFSL House sound than you will prolly like this record, But Comparing it to a Original Columbia Press they couldn't be more different, The OG has energy and feels alive, it has air and space, The MFSL is Bass boosted and softened up in the high end, and they remove all the tape hiss,, It seems to be a case of what sound do you like, I know Many that love this record and I know Many that think they sucked the life out of it,,, It is your choice of what sound you like

Bought my copy #4367 in March of 2020 and after several vacuum wet cleanings and over a dozen plays, this plays beautifully now. For $40 this is a must have as it sounds superb and is quite frankly a steal for that price.

Holy cow this sounds creamy smooth. If you were forced to listen to your "parents music" in the 70's and 80's, you know most of these songs. If you're a fan of beautiful soulful pop music you must own this pressing.

Edited one year agoI finally decided to see if the hype was real. It is. WOW! Seriously, this is an impressive sounding remaster and pressing. Amazing, tight bass and drums. The soundstage is so wide that it seems like it’s coming from 2 feet outside the speakers on both sides. Bill’s sweet voice is huge and so clear on every song. Highly recommended.
