Personally I would say that the 1st Press Sounds much better than the various represses I listened to over the Last nearly 40 years. Wich Means more transparency and Detail and ( important to me) far more meaty and in the highs better balanced and less aggressive, more "Analogue" Sound. Just my 2 Cents. -
85555 ist eine Platte der Gruppe Spliff welche 1982 erschien. Zudem ist sie im Gegensatz zu dem Vorgänger eine deutschsprachige Platte welche dennoch nach damaligen Standards überdurchschnittlich gut produziert wurde. Die
Sound-Qualität der Platte ist überragend. Schade, dass 85555 heute fast vergessen zu sein scheint.

Spliff is still one of the most “international” German bands that is sadly underrated by the contemporary music crowd. Excellent musicians as they are, this record is in my view their best album after going separate ways with Nina Hagen. They have been very influential to different generations of German musicians, I still don’t get why you still find this record in dollar-bins. ( this also counts for the “Nina Hagen Band”) -
can somebody please tell me, which version is without this "beep, beep" on carbonara ? thank you
