My copy sounds really nice. The noise from the samples isn't distracting and the drums sound great.
After having not listened to the album for years, the sample replacements in Frontier Psychiatrist bother me much less. It still sounds odd at some points, but the song is enjoyable regardless. -
Frontier Psychiatrist sounds weird with the new vocals. Might as well call them that since they were lyrics recorded specifically for the song. -
So they couldn't clear all the Frontier Psychiatrist samples. What are you gonna do? It's not their fault. It's also only one song. Every single cut on here is a classic. It's still a lovely re-issue. -
Edited 8 years agoOne of my favorite albums of all time. Defined sampling. Always love when my favorite albums get pressed in color! Samples for Frontier Psychiatrist are not as smooth, but it is a unique version. -
The version of Frontier Psychiatrist included on this pressing had the re-recorded samples. Otherwise, it's the same as the standard international version available digitally and the EU vinyl pressing issued last year.
