On images above there is two photos of the media labels. One has an aligned ‘Side B’ with 33 1/3 above and one has ‘Side B’ slightly misaligned (to right) with 33 1/3. Does anyone know which version is which?

If anyone wants to sell only the original Vertigo Swirl inner please me. Thanks !

My copy matches this one but there is a small "27" on the front cover where the "V" from the title is at. Does anyone know which version is that?

Edited 10 months agoI have one that appears to be this version, but it has a plain white paper inner sleeve without the spiral. On one side, it has text on the left that reads: PATENT Nos. 1125555, 1072844; and MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN. on the right.
If I have a different version can someone reply with it, because I can't find it.
For now I'll be adding this version to my collection because everything else matches up. -
Edited one year agoFound a OG copy 1972 repress at a Dollar Store for 1.99. A little scratchy but after clean up sounds amazing (still some surface noise)

I was a bit sceptical about first press albums, but Black Sabbath Vol4 Vertigo is really quality sound and pleasure to listen. Recommend.

This sounds so good. It’s massive! Ozzy really is in the room and the drums are so punchy. It sounds like you’re watching them record it in the studio and it makes me love this album even more.

Matrix for Variant 11 shows on the site as:
Matrix / Runout (Variant 11 - A-side): 6360071 1Y//1 PORKY 1 21 9
Matrix / Runout (Variant 11 - B-side): 6360071 2Y//1 11 11 PECKO
My A-side matches the above but I'm pretty sure my B-side reads - 6360071 2Y//1 1 21 1 PECKO
Can some-one who has a variant 11 have a peruse for accuracy sake?
Happy New Year and keep the needle in the groove!

Just picked this up in my local for a cool $130 AUD .... so, not cheap but oh was it worth it.
I already had this 2nd UK press (https://discogs.sitiodesbloquea.com/release/4393132-Black-Sabbath-Vol-4) and I can tell you the difference between that pressing and this one - which has PORKY/PECKO in the deadwax, i.e. the one I've been waiting to find for years! - is not subtle. Far more punch and clarity - especially in the drums: so much crisper.
This is THE pressing for this record.
