My copy came with a speck of blue material smushed into track D1 that caused the record to skip. I was able to gently pry it off with a wooden toothpick, and it plays fine after that. Sharing in case anyone else encounters this. -
Does anyone else’s copy have EMI logos on the labels? My copy is seemingly from a recent repressing, so would this necessitate a new listing? Record sounds good by the way, but has the re-recording of Frontier Psychiatrist -
Personally - and maybe I lucked out with my copy - I hear very little surface noise that isn't built into the recording. Based on the comments I was concerned when I realized this is the version that I bought, but I'm relieved on first spin and will be sticking with this pressing. -
Terrible release. If the different samples used don’t kill the vibe, the surface noise certainly will -

Edited 6 years agoI have a few things to say about this pressing:
1. The spindle hole on the second disc is so small I have to manually turn the spindle while pulling up on the record to get it off. This may be specific to my copy.
2. Frontier Psychiatrist is fine. For the people who are confused about this, here's the rundown. This album uses a ridiculous amount of samples, and I guess they couldn't get the rights to use some of the samples in the song "Frontier Psychiatrist", so they re-recorded some. This makes one or two of the samples in the song feel like they don't quite fit in, but honestly it's not that big of a problem. It's just one song and it's only a few samples. Doesn't take away from the experience in my opinion.
3. There is a significant amount of surface noise in my copy. Only noticeable when you play it really loud though.
Actually that's it. A few annoyances, but overall I'm satisfied with my copy and will be listening to it many times. -
Dont buy this version. Samples are replaced from the original with no indication they would be. Better off picking up more recent bootlegs.
