Busted out my copy of this recently which has had very little play over its life. It really is a great pressing which for me means I'm compelled to sit and listen to all sides of what is an album that is almost too familiar. The liners are great also - definitely a keeper and worth seeking out a good copy of this iconic album.

Guys, I got this the first day it went around, in Thessaloniki, North Greece! Got back home the same night and played it, bass was so punchy and the sound so dynamic, I realised it would be an instant classic when "Find My Baby" kicked in..... the sensation hasn't faded at all, the album is a classic masterpiece and Moby showed to the world how to do commercial and accessible music that is 10/10!!!!!

This is a superb album & pressing. Stumm have got to be one of the best labels, I've not had a duff one yet.

Edited 4 years agoCracking pressing despite being on the thin side, the vinyl still packs a punch. Great detail, bass & dynamics throughout.
There are some minor crackles & pops leading into tracks but they soon fade. This pressing has made me really appreciate tracks I didn't before which says a lot.
Playing on a £4k system. -
Edited 8 years agoNobody noticed that SIDE B & D are Asymmetric with this vinylpressing ? I have a copy but SIDE B is really asymmetric. The hole in the middle is not straight stamped in the middle so needle goes from left to right too much. Side B is really bad with my copy- Side D is do-able - it's not straight too. Other sides sounds fantastic indeed like ROSE1978 is telling us... Please comment this post if you have an asymmetric copy too ;)

This record has been repressed some months ago. I didn't listen to it yet. The only i have to say is that this is ONE OF MY LOUDER VOLUME & BEST SOUND vinyls (the original press) i own.
