records ship out on tuesdays, thursdays, and fridays. sometimes i can ship on wednesdays and saturdays. no records will be shipped on sundays or mondays.

within the USA:

media mail rates:
LP's: $5 for first 5 LP's, $0.25 for each additional LP there after. a double LP counts as 2.
CD's & 7"s: $4 for first 5 of either, $0.25 for each additional there after.

priority mail rates:
LP's: $12 for first 5 LP's, $0.50 for each additional LP there after.
CD's & 7"s: $8 for first 5 of either, $0.30 for each additional there after.

**if no preference is given, I will ship media mail as default.**

international shipping (first class and priority (if over 4 lbs.)):

$26 for first 3 LP's, $4.00 for each addtional LP up to a total of 5. on the 6th LP, there's another $20 charge due to the weight pushing over 4 lbs., forcing it to then be shipped via priority and not first class, which is more expensive. for each additional LP past this point, it will be $4.00. (if you are overcharged by more than $5 on the post office receipt, i will refund the difference to you via paypal. sorry, US international shipping is expensive.)

$18 for first 2 LPs, $1.50 for each additional up to 8 total. on the 9th LP, there's another $10 charge due to the weight pushing over 4 lbs., forcing it to then be shipped via priority and not first class, which is more expensive. for each additional LP past this point, it will be $1.50.

the prices shown above were estimated with the use of the USPS international shipping calculator found online, and the experience of hundreds of trips to send packages through my local USPS. the price for the first few LP's is designed to encourage buyers to purchase more than just one LP from me. i will not refund any of the shipping cost if you paid a few dollars more than what your package ends up saying the postage actually costed when it arrives to you.

a USPS tracking # will be provided to all orders within the USA. if shipping international, i will provide you with the customs form number which can be tracked from the USPS site up to the point where it leaves the USA. i offer ed mail for an additional $15. if you want a higher class of shipping, that can be arranged. also, let me know if you want insurance and i'll find out how much it is. this process will slow down the shipping as i will have to visit the post office twice before it ships (once for an estimate, again to ship).

lost mail:

if i provide you with a legit tracking number that shows the route your package took before it was lost in the mail, i *will not* refund your money for the loss of the package or the shipping. that's now between you and the carrier that screwed up the delivery of the package. also, please take note of where i offered to provide you with insurance (one paragraph up). if you chose not to insure your package after i offered you the option, that's on you. i package my records with cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrap. if the mail couriers decided to play a game of football with your package, that has nothing to do with me. if you bought an expensive record from me, it arrives broken from mishandling (this includes warping -- see more below) and you want me to compensate, i won't.

02/25/16 addendum:

it took me around 550 orders sent out to run into this issue, but this is new to me: warped records -- i don't own any (unless otherwise stated under the specific record listing). if you receive a record that has a warp in it, the warp happened after it left my possession. it was either too hot during the summer and the postal workers didn't keep it out of the heat, or the postal worker left it near a heat source during the winter (like a vent blowing hot air in their vehicle). regardless, i'm not taking responsibility for the mishandling of your package by the USPS. this brings me back to a reiteration of my earlier point: i already offered to send it insured if you pay for it. the problem is between you and USPS now.

also, if a month has gone by and you haven't received your record from me still, it's probably been lost by the USPS. don't me more than two months later asking me why your tracking number on your package doesn't work. when you google, "expiration dates of USPS tracking numbers", you'll find that people make claims that they expire after six months, but i've seen them expired after only four. the point: your tracking number will be useless after too much time goes by and will cease to work when you enter it on their site looking for your lost package. if you didn't insure your package, like i offered (!!!), that's on you.

sorry, i can't afford to keep taking losses for USPS mistakes / mishandling.

05/03/16 addendum:

your package will be shipped in a cardboard mailer with stiffeners and bubble wrap, sometimes a plastic cover for the vinyl (if i have any lying around). i'm not making alterations to the package (e.g.: wrap my package in plastic, etc.). if you have problems with your packages getting left out in the rain, get a PO Box...
