Automatic Cancellation Policy: Orders will be cancelled if payment is not received within 7 days.
Note; I no longer send pictures of records and sleeves to customers as 99% never buy, last week I sent 4 lots of pics and no sale. I try to give a reasonable description of the item. Please do not ask.
SALES TO EU, after the disaster of Brexit for reducing the volume of sales to Europe, I’ve decided to stop selling to the EU after I’ve suddenly had a spate of Customs returns despite using the on line Royal Mail customs forms and stating the amount paid for VAT on the parcel until the problem is resolved.
RETURNS: allowed if the item is faulty or not as described, please me before returning to discuss the matter or if you are unhappy, rather than just give bad , (see below)
UK postage rates; up to 7 LP’s for the same as one LP
NOTE THE FREE SHIPPING UK OFFER doesn’t apply if many prices have been reduced due to accepted offers.
CD’s and Cassettes UK and Overseas can be sent without cases to reduce bulk, weight and postage cost, please let me know and I will amend the invoice
If you require guaranteed overseas mail please ask for tracked Airmail which is around £4 extra
NOTE RE VINYL; Grades are often visual due to the number of items listed. I would advise all purchasers to wash their records in slightly warm water (not hot), with mild detergent, then allow to dry before playing, as grease and mildew deep in the grooves often causes surface noise, before deciding if the grading is not as described, I carefully wipe and clean marked records before sending, but a deep clean can often be incredible when it comes to audio performance.
Visual grading although normally reliable, is still occasionally uncertain, it’s impossible to play everything, so please me if you are unhappy and we can usually come to an acceptable agreement rather than firing off bad , which is unfair as grading is not an exact science and does not cover the label condition by the way
GRADING NOTE; NM is a difficult grade as some purchasers expect mint, it is possible to have a few light marks and play with little or no noise, or an unmarked new record can still be noisy. I often use the useful EX which means excellent, a Record Collector etc grade which means very few surface marks and close to NM but better then VG+.
SLEEVE GRADING; the middle grades on sleeves are very subjective, one person’s VG is someone else’s good +, I often use VG if there is moderate wear and creasing, perhaps a little tear, split or writing, but no major tears or splits etc
PLEASE me if not happy with grading, thanks for reading
