Yes, dint10, this is a truly great remaster, and even though the pressing has its issues I have just upgraded my review from 4 to 5 stars because the overall sound is such superb. Respects to Sean Magee, thank you for such a great enjoyment!!

Received this one instead. To be honest: been a bit disappointed at first. But it sounds really great, quite a bit better than the EU 2015 one, only bad thing is the not-such-perfect pressing by MPO. MPO and Pallas seem to be in a constant decline in of quality for some time now. Nonetheless the mastering is perfect and I try hard to not hear the noise... it's a record, right?
6 stars if the pressing was perfect, 4 1/2 still for this. Beautiful dynamics, artwork is nicely re-done as well.
By the way:no booklet to be found as discribed above.

Yes, it is sounding good and gatefold looks similar to my original. Does anyone know who did actually remaster this one? Really Bob Ludwig?
Think it must be the 2ü02 remaster, sadly no 'lacquer cut by' credit on the disc that is cut at a very low volume which is fine until A5 which drops audible in audio quality/ pressing quality about 2 minutes before the song's end.

As GZ Media pressed the EU version, this one was probably handled by Precision Record Pressing?

Im impressed with this for a club pressing. Usually RCA was crap. This isnt that bad.

Excellent pressing and cutting, a perfect example of the quality of someone of the reissues of that period. Excellent channel separation, vivid full spectrum sound!

VERY minimal surface noise on Side 3… other than that, this is a magnificent sounding record, and has me hyped to continue my foray into The Band’s catalog… also Mo-Fi sleeves!!

This is a two-LP 45 rpm rendering of the stereo mix on two albums . This is one of the most brilliant albums to come out in the late 1960's. Considering that this was remasted using technoloy to seperate the instruments by Bob Clearmountain. He used the same software that Peter Jackson/Beatles used for the Let it Be. That said my 1973 reissue sounds much better . This 2024 pressing is very quiet , but the mix looses somthing , like Bach-inflected organ overture to “Chest Fever” seems out of tune. Unlike Giles Martin remix of current Beatles , Clearmountain has turned too many knobs and created too a clinical sounding record. Original producer John Simon mix sounds much better to my ears .

Damn this is a fantastic pressing! Picked this up for an absolute steal while rummaging out in rural UK - it's nice to know you can still get lucky now and again...

Overall good pressing. Bass can be overpowering at times. Sides 2-4 seem to be better audio quality. Side 1 seems to be all over the place. This could be because of the original mix.
