So is this new remaster (2018) from the "Nuclear Blast/early 2000's" recordings?

This 1st HRR edition has nearly same back cover layout as on the original -87 album. The newer HRR editions does have a little bit different back cover layout. Thanks to HRR for giving something special for those who did bought the 1st edition at the time of release.

Slaughter Strappado discography is a mess. It needs a cleaning because not every release is what it seems.

1987 Original LP (remix by Mike Busija?)
1993 Fringe Re-mix+mastering
2001 Alexander Krull/Nuclear Blast Re-mastering of Mike Busija mix (Metal Mind + some High Roller releases use this)
2014 Patrick W. Engel/High Roller Original mix (+ unedited rough mix) Re-mastered (couple of High Roller LP/CD's use this after 2014 but some use still the 2001 re-mastering with bonus tracks)
2019 CD (2018 October mastering done by Patrick W. Engel), "remixed" ? Does it use the Mike Busija remix but mastered by Patrick W. Engel?

Now playing Strappado 2010 H.Roller pressing which use the 2001 re-mastering. It is little bit cleaner than the original mix and there is more echo on the vocals. But my ears are not the best.

This is a terrible pressing of a great album. Compressed and distorted to high Heaven. Can anyone recommend a better pressing?

Piss Yellow is awesome!! The record itself sounds good, no pops, record pressed nice and flat. I’m running a set of JBL L220’s and they pound. Really happy with this one.

My center labels are reversed. A is B. and B is A. Anyone else with the same issue?

The vinyl is a really nice shade of piss yellow. The album rocks, but I find it is mastered very quietly. My stereo needs to be cranked to hear it at a decent volume. I want to 'PLAY LOUD!' as per the instructions on the on the back of the sleeve, but it is tough.
