Nailbomb – Point Blank

Очень хорошее издание. Звук на высоте, динамический диапазон хорош, полиграфия тоже вполне. Настоятельно рекомендую.

This album is absolutely brutal! Like a punch to the face! Great pressing, nice dynamics, punchy and clean!

Picked up a copy and like previous comments state mine is flat silent and well made sounds just fine but not very dynamic worth it though if you like the album and can get it for under $35

Like all MOV releases, this is dead quiet, flat and well pressed. I'm no audiophile but this sounds great on my mid tier system.

This is one of the best album covers I have ever seen in my history of enjoying music - probably because I became a bestgore fanatic early in puberty. The instrumentation was amazing but overshadowed the vocals on this heavily punk inspired Roadrunner debut, but just because the lead singer could not carry his vocals over the guitars and drums, it does not mean the message of this music still did not get across to this listener of many.

Like the Cargo release of Fear Factory's Demanufacture, I feel like this record could use more bass but it could just be the original mix/master (like Demanufacture). Otherwise a very clean, nice sounding pressing. Nothing incredible in of dynamics though.

This is the most extreme CD I own, a vicious mixture of Punk and Speed/Thrash Metal. It's a nasty, vitriolic, beast of an album that will definitely not be many peoples cup of tea. The cover is enough to send most Grandmothers into a neurotic panic. Recorded sometime between Max Cavalera's split from Sepultura and the birth of Soulfly, this is like a diary of what was obviously a depressing period in his life.

Full of general spitting at society and it's injustices, there's also a degree of self-hate. Max sounds like Kurt Cobain on "Tourettes" or "Territorial Pissings" and the musical style is similar, only more hardcore. Songs like "24 Hour Bullshit" and "Sick Life" just grab you by the jugular and do not let go. My personal favourite is the ambush of "For Fucks Sake". Lulling you into a false sense of security with some whispered lyrics and light drum-machine beats it soon erupts into a riff-tastic monster. Headbangin to this one might just break your neck! There's not a weak tune on this album and is some of the most angry music I've ever heard.

It's been interesting to see the metamorphosis of Max Cavalera as he evolved from this to the spiritual ideology of Soulfly. Ive particularly enjoyed it as I have experienced similarly turbulent times in my personal growth and development. Not too mention the fact I've been a Sepultura fan since my teenage years.

Sometimes I'm not too sure if listening to this album is good for my well-being. However I do find it a particularly good CD to play when someone has severely pissed me off or I've generally had a very bad day. I'm glad to say that that's not too often these days as I'm on top of my shit now! God Bless.
