Combichrist – Today We Are All Demons

The forth album from TBM/Agrrotech mainstays Combichrist, 'Today We Are All Demons' offers up more of what you'd expect from a band known for their heavy beats and anarchic tenancies. Featured on the record are the singles 'Sent To Destroy', 'All Pain Is Gone', 'Can't Change The Beat' & the original version of 'Scarred' (which would be later reworked with Wes Borland on Guitar), each providing a fun excursion into the twisted mind of frontman Andy, but not coming across at top tier bangers we are used to.
Many of the record's tracks stand on their own as a perfect example of the band's strengths. 'Spit' is a wonderful throwback to their early instrumental days, using sampling to offend the senses, 'The Kill V2' is a sinister dirge with murderous intent and 'Get Out Of My Head' is a skull smashing tour de force begging for some relief.
Also featured is the artist's last attempt of Noize/Electronica from around this era in the bonus CD, again a welcome extension to the album but still falling short in the earworm category.
If you are new to Combichrist this album is a perfect jumping off point as it doesn't hold many surprises but does manage to give you enough enjoyment to give you an idea of what they are about.

Only buy this vinyl pressing, the Metropolis pressing was horrible. Just a heads up. It may be more money, but you want this album to sound perfect, right?

The Metropolis pressing is garbage. If You love this album and require it on vinyl, please seak the Out of Line pressing. It doesn't sound like shit AND it's colored : )
