Childish Gambino – Camp

Every thing you could ask for in a vinyl pressing,the artwork book was fantastic and the vinyls them selves play swell.

Sounds absolutely amazing!🔊🙌 This is an album you sit down and listen to through the whole thing. Great bass and crisp sound. Only little downside is a small amount of surface noise, but it doesn’t bather me at all. I have also deep cleaned it ofc with my Project VC-S2.

I own this version based on the matrix runouts & oddly enough, mine is a trifold instead of a double gatefold.

I am pretty sure I bought this version (The Netherlands), but the runout barely does not match the above mentioned. Mine read: 199937E1/M, 199937E2/M, 199937E3/O, 199937E4/M. Weirdly side C is the only one with a differing code. This does not match any of the other releases on Discogs either. They match this release most and this is the only one with the same barcode that has nearly the same runout and has just this same sticker on the packaging.

Great pressing! Dynamic, clear vocals and the bass slaps. Very happy to have this at last

I don't know if it's just me, but this release sounds like it's got barely any low end.

Sounds good. I finally gave up trying to find a copy at WalMart that didn't have a split in the top of the cover. The cover is pretty cheaply made and I can see why they are all split. Vinyl itself looks good and is quiet.

How can you tell the difference between 2011 & 2017 ?

Out of the 3 colored pressings Walmart released for Childish Gambino recently, this the clearest sounding! The red is very lightly translucent, and on an acrylic platter with lights looks fantastic. The packaging folds into 3 parts even though this is only a double LP which isn't super convenient but is only a slight nit-pick. The booklet it comes with, and the image the sleeve folds out into really fits the album, and are nice details to justify modern vinyl price tag. I really didn't like this album when it released, but it has grown leagues on me. Side A has a nearly flawless run of songs, track two sounding as if it came straight off of Graduation. The album itself drags a bit, but Donald Glover really puts you in the summer camp this album revolves around. Definitely pick it up if you see it a retailers!

Quiet press that needs to be turned up. But it sounds good once the volumes up!
