Visage – The Anvil

My copy has no sample sticker on the front, but has the same label with the sample copy stamps, and A-1-1 on both sides' runouts. Great sound.

Owned this cd years ago as far as sound quality is concerned it is decidedly mediocre the sound is dry complete dry it is not a full sound just compare it with the other pressings and hear the difference I repeat with absolute conviction dry dry sound lacks roundness fullness certainly for the collecting part it could be fine since as it turns out it is the first ever CD release in the world but I repeat for the sound quality there is nothing good in the most absolute way !!! in fact if you record from vinyl with a cd recorder and make a comparison you will see that the version recorded from vinyl sounds better what is missing and there is no fullness in the sound of the cd and too clear too lacks the roundness and of the basses it would seem too accentuated on the high frequencies or as they said for the first CD pressings (too metallic sound_) I'm not a sound engineer but I'm convinced this release doesn't sound right subsequent reissues definitely sound much, much better !!! namely that of _(One Way Records) (Cherry Pop) and of course the great one (Rubellan Remasters)

this album is simply a masterpiece a marvel of music and incredible the emotions that it manages to convey to me i believe that the more great satisfaction in a musician is just to make you feel emotions inside the human soul and something deep that music can unleash after all, all life is made up of emotions in my opinion visage deserve a place of great respect in the world of music and the emotions I feel in listening to their music are incredible a love between a man and a woman can sometimes end and the memories of what it was remain but the music does remain because you only have to listen and if it is able to unleash emotions within the human soul it remains forever as in the case of great visage i am very grateful for this to all the of visage and especially to steve strange dear steve strange i never got to know you in person and i am very sorry for your loss this is my greatest wish i hope to meet the great steve when the time comes that i have to leave this life

If you love Visage, you’ve got to get yourself this Rubellan Remasters series.
Fantastic sound! Great bonus material too. The only thing that’s not to like is the horribly thin plastic jewel case, giving the CD a cheap appearance while it is in fact a quality product.
What a great album The Anvil is, anyway.

Brilliant reissue!!! Excellent, dynamic sound from the original master tapes. Great bonus tracks, too! "We Move [USA Remix]" is previously unreleased!

This is a fantastic remastered and expanded edition of 'The Anvil' by Rubellan Remasters. What a clear and dynamic sound ! Strongly recommended !!

Got this the other day & listened to it right away. Another great remaster Scott!!
