Fantastic pressing, this album was exceptionally well recorded and the vinyl mastered and pressed impeccably.

Both bottom and top end are fantastic and the detail is exceptional.

My copy sounds great. It's a must-have 80's record...if you're into that sort of thing. The guitars on this one are criminally underrrated.

This pressing sounds phenomenal. Great clarity and punchy bass. Worth tracking down for US fans.

A lot of younger people might recognize the band for their hit 'I ran' (Which tends to be a go-to for 80s new-wave, especially in popular culture), but oftentimes the rest of this entire album tends to get skipped, which is a shame because the entire album, from start to finish, is one of the best examples of New Wave rock out there, outdoing contemporaries like Duran Duran.

Stylistically, alot of the album uses excessive reverb with a huge emphasis on typical 80s production hallmarks (gated drum, reverb, signature guitars), but in the case of this band the style is more unique compared to other bands of the time, and most of this boils down to production and the synthesizers themselves. For instance, Telecommunication and 'Space Age Love Song'.

Otherwise, an excellent album, only thing to note is the US version doesn't start with the extended intro, it goes right into the song similar to the radio edit and the 7 inch.

In my humble opinion one of the 80's great albums.
