Madonna – Madame X

Must say great sounding record, quite a different experience to the digital files, it sounds much better, probably because they mastered it differently to the digital release. One such difference is in the track “bitch I’m loca” where in the chorus when she sings it robotically the verb is very audible on this record which isn’t quite so noticeable on digital releases. There’s examples of this throughout the album

I just got a new copy off of Amazon, and this is definitely a repress. The track list on the back was fixed and now lists "Future" as the first song on side B. There also was no "MADE IN CANADA" sticker on the shrink. However, the big gag is that "Future" is now actually the last track on side A. So, this is actually not a repress of the first master but a new pressing altogether. And track list and record are not matching ... again.

The sound is pretty stellar though. I had the first black pressing when the album first came out, which sounded fine. Then I opted for the clear instead, because it looked prettier. But the sound turned out to be awful, almost distorted, and dirty as hell with clicks and pops throughout. So, then now I bought this new black copy on Amazon again, and I wanna say this is the best sounding one. Recommended!

I must say this is a pretty solid record, not judging the music itself the pressing itself is heavyweight vinyl that sounds with great bass and range. Don't know if it's an improvement over the cd /streaming versions but it's definitely a good pressing

I recently bought a copy off eBay and my copy has the track listing fixed on both the back and the inner sleeve. "Future" now listed as 1st song on Side B.

The bottom right of the back also lists it now as B0030045-01 JK02.

Does somebody where this was pressed? Wonder if the vinyls are actually the same as the European pressings and only the cover is different.

A good sounding record. The bass is much more prominent than on the streaming and CD versions, especially on "Crazy". And in general, everything sounds much more clear. However, there is some clipping and sibilance present on "Crave", which is unfortunate. However, this is an overall better vinyl presentation for a Madonna record than both Rebel Heart and MDNA got!

Just received the 2x LP album and it sounds great. The sibilans are a bit distorted but overall good and impressive.The records were nice and clean without any sound or visual defects.
