Hot Butter made it to #9 on Billboards Hot 100 pop chart way back in 1972! I brought this 45 7" single brand new back in 1972 & I still have it! Funny how its under "Synth pop" when in 1972 that term was not even heard of. Very ahead of its time, just as the hit by the UK group, the Tornado's with their early 1960's # 1 "Telestar". Very electronic sounding for that time.

The catchy and cheerful instrumental "Pop Corn" from 1972 by Hot Butter is a popular Electronic Music and Synthpop. I recommend this vinyl record. The tune "At The Movies" is a relaxing track, but it's also fantastic. But "At The Movies" and some other compositions by Hot Butter were not more famous than "Pop Corn" (The only huge success).
