Very similar to release Donald Byrd - Slow Drag including dark blue labels and the large black Blue Note 'b' logo.
Both releases state on front cover to bottom left printed vertically "© LIBERTY RECORDS, INC PRINTED IN U.S.A". On the covers 'Blue Note' is identified as "A PRODUCT OF LIBERTY RECORDS". On the labels around the outer edge is printed "BLUE NOTE RECORDS, A DIVISION OF UNITED ARTIST RECORDS INC ....."
The differences on this release are
1. Labels:
1.1 Slow Drag without quotation marks.
1.2. Track listing: without run times, includes writers on the same line as track title.
1.3. Producer not listed under the track listing.
2. Matrix-runout to Side 1 is different and Side 2 is as per the other release.
3. In the gutter of the opened Unipak sleeve the following is printed vertically at bottom: UNIPAK-Patent Pending PRINTED IN U.S.A.
4. 2.75" pressing ring indicates All Disc pressing.
4.1 Dated 1973 on inner anti-static sleeve: white sleeve with smallish dark blue 'blue note' logos repeated pattern across the sleeve. Along bottom to one side: © MCMLXXIII UNITED ARTISTS RECORDS.INC · MANUFACTURED BY UNITED ARTISTS RECORDS.INC., LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA 90028 · PRINTED IN THE USA · ALL RIGHTS RESERVED
