Has anyone else had problems with this? The master sounds great but I've gone through four copies and they all have surface noise and small buzzes throughout side 1. It sounds like non-fill. Maybe they just had a bad batch at Optimal.

Judging by the amount of reviews here for just this release alone there's a lot of people buying and listening to jazz these days! Great! your local live jazz venues too folks! Lot's of great news artists coming through!

One of the best BN copies I have. Very warm and natural sound. Clear and quiet. Beautiful sound stage. I can recommend this copy without any doubt.

I have plenty of BN reissues but listening to this particular copy of this particular pressing, I felt compelled to come here to comment on how terrific it sounds. I’m no expert, and plenty have already commended the quality here, so I’m just adding for a job well done. (It goes without saying that what’s contained within the grooves is essential)

This was on sale for less than $15. I was fortunate to get a fairly quiet copy, although it is not completely silent (very few records are). I can only echo what others have said: wide soundstage, clear and vibrant recorded sound, great music, brilliant performances. The previous comment about Grachan Moncur is right on point: three of the four songs are his compositions, and they sound exactly like the music on Evolution. If you like that record, you will like this one also. A record to treasure.

Music and mastering so pleasant to the ears! Truly amazing clarity, channel separation, dead flat pressing and not a pop to be heard. This is a must have for any collection. Do not hesitate, purchase with confidence!

You better take advantage of these folks selling this particular pressing at these low prices, cause this one is a winner!

One of the best soundig records of this series. Maybe it is the best sounding one. Not only in my opinion. Read a TAS-review of this pressing with the same tenor. Not to forget: the music is extraordinary godd. Experimental ,very tense with a stunning Grachan Moncur, who composed some of the tunes.

Long shot, but can anyone compare to the 2015 Elemental pressing? I have that one, and it's good, but wondering if there's an improvement in sound here.
