Edited 4 months agoWanted this album on wax for 10+ years, excellent pressing! Minimal snap crackling pop between a couple songs, but tracks are wonderful. The dynamics, the soundstage are fantastic!! Spinning after Analogue Productions LA Woman by The Doors, so happy with this!! Enjoy!!

Really happy with this pressing of one of the great albums from the 90s. Quiet as a mouse, no surface noise to speak of and a real warmth to the vocals and overall sound that really shines in the vinyl format. Can’t compare to any other pressings but would be no need to go digging for previous releases imo. Very enjoyable listen.

Fantastic! sounding album. This album sounds good in all formats if you ask me. Great musicianship, mixing, producing, lyrics. This album has it all! Top 5 album for me.
The Vinyl also sounds good. It is a bit more laid back from the CD/Digital versions I own, and a tad less low-end and top-end sparkle, but overall a great-sounding pressing. My version is the 0957443-A-1, the latest version available. Purchased through Amazon. Arrived in mint condition and double boxed. -
I expected a 45 RPM when I ordered this album, I received this version instead. I can’t compare it to the 45 however, this version sounds really nice.

Every pressing I've heard of this record sounds incredible. This one is no exception. Don't let your ravenous desires for an OG for for the Analogue Productions version steer you away from this more affordable version.

I wasn’t sure what version I was getting when I ordered this record. I’m more than satisfied with what I got. I haven’t heard any other pressing to compare, but I truly enjoyed listening to this one. I think it sounded great.

The CD sounds crisp and clear but the first 30 seconds of this vinyl pressing sounds terrible, muffled, scratchy, and hissy. It does get better, by the time the chorus starts the sound is wonderful. I don't know if other pressings have the same flaw but if you can put up with the first 30 seconds the rest of it is worth the purchase price.
