Björk – Fossora

There are some skips on it but in my opinion it always happens with the silver and golden vinyls idk how but it always does.

It appears there is also a 2023 re-press of this color variant, I have recently picked up a copy and it’s the newer mix of the album (brass on Ovule, Sindri on Ancestress, Ísadóra on Her Mother’s House). There is a new barcode sticker placed over the one printed on the jacket: 5 016958 102470 – also added it as a new variant on here.

I have two copies of this release. The first copy has warped disc 1 and due to this the beginning of track A1 is unplayable. I filed a complaint and OLI sent me another copy. The second copy has the same damage as the first, in the same place.
Does anyone have the same problem as me? Or maybe I just have a bad luck?

Well I just tried to order both the silver and burgandy versions of Fassora on Recordstore.co.uk (apparently they still have both...including this so called limited to 500 units version) and was denied because apparently these can't be shipped to the US!! Why? What difference does it make? It's a $100 sale.

I got mine yesterday from Fnac, side c has some issues.
The most annoying is that doa’s vocal aren’t featured at HER MOTHER’S HOUSE unfortunately, also ovule is a different version than I hear on Spotify.
If I knew I would buy the black vinyl.

Yes, the Fossora: Recordstore Exclusive Silver Vinyl 2LP is a Recordstore item.

It is limited to 500 copies.

I purchased the clear, the silver and the burgundy versions of this. The silver is by far the worst sounding, my copy was bowled on disc 1 and the level of surface noise is unacceptable for a record costing £40. It was slightly better after a clean but still bad. The clear edition was slightly better, but again has more surface noise than I would expect for such an expensive record, especially given that the album has a lot of quiet/silent parts. The burgundy copy was however perfect, dead flat with virtually no noise at all.

This is more a marbled grey than a silver for my copy...the cover is a little different for me. someone has a different cover too?

this is still available from mediamarkt.de and saturn.de (the 2 biggest retailers in !) so definitely not 500 copies, more like 5'000 in total! anyone else noticed these weird waves on the surface (also present on the photos here)? this looks weird...

This is a fantastic sounding pressing - always important when it comes to Björk. Missed out on the turquoise but this will do nicely.
