Edited 2 months agoThis needs a quality vinyl reissue. There is obviously a demand when original pressings in VG+ condition are fetching ~$65.
I am not a big Queensryche enthusiast these days - I dropped off with Empire - but I grew to love this record when I was a kid. It was a huge step forward from Warning - a transitional, experimental album that paved the way for Mindcrime. It was also ahead of its time, combing progressive metal (early Judas Priest influence) with industrial. Have Skinny Puppy's David Ogilvie involved was an inspired move, as you can hear the influence of bands like Skinny Puppy, Ministry, Foetus et al.
It took a while to hook me, but I think it holds up to this day. -
Bought on release day. The jacket has held up well, some minor yellowing on the bottom right of the front cover and slight creasing, but nothing too noticeable. The record itself sounds just as great as it did when bought.

so... now that we have Mindcrime and Empire as really good ReIssues in 2021...when will we get Rage for Order?

Edited 4 years agoMy album matches this in pretty much every detail except it has an A embossed into the label, both sides near the center. What version or pressing is this? Thanks for any info.
