Many words has been written about the music, but haven't seen any praising the pressing. Holy damn this is one of the best sounding records I own. Very clear sound, wide soundstage, and great instrument separation. Superb mastering. Last but not least, quiet vinyl.

Very nice to see that this album has been reissued on both CD and LP. It's a little-known gem.
One or two tracks of this album were used as background music by Joe Frank, during some episodes of his radio program "Work In Progress" back in 1985 and 1986. That's probably where it got most of its air-play here in the United States.
Is there anyone who could give a good English-language translation for the Japanese track titles? Google Translate helps but isn't entirely revealing:
A1 Home path
A2 Horridula
A3 Ayari toya
A4 Ataitavitata
B1 hand notes
B2 force car
B3 Scarecrow
B4 Polaris

Edited 10 years agoThere is a CD version of "Aragon" on Invitation, VDR-77, and I also hear that there is a 2014 remaster with bonus tracks from "The Birth of Aragon" album. And yes, I'm almost certain that Aragon collaborated with Geinoh Yamashirogumi on their album, "Ecophony Rinne." They are name-checked in the liner notes.

Absolute joy. This album is amazing! Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to find any information about this band on the internet. I heard that some of these musicians went on to collaborate with Geinoh Yamashirogumi! How cool is that, huh? I can't recommend this album highly enough! Listen and fall in love with it. For eternity!
