This record was made when the synthesizer legend "Yamaha DX-7" comes to daylight ...

"Das Geheime Leben" was recorded in 1981 and "Der Traum von Asgard" in 1982, the Yamaha DX-7 was not released until 1983.
In fact, because of the DX-7, Lakomy stopped making electronic music!

I'm curious how the CD version is not listed here? I have it, so it exists.

Lakomy (*1946 in Magdeburg) was wellknown in the GDR as a exploring and experimentalizing artist. He released nursery rhymes, books for children and records in various styles such as Jazz and Schlager (a german kind of french chanson, but often worst). So it wasn't astonishing that he made the first release in electronic music in the GDR, followed by Pond and others later.
This record was made when the synthesizer legend "Yamaha DX-7" comes to daylight and it's strongly influenced by Jean-Michel Jarre (Oxygene, Equinox) but don't attempt to copy his style.
I am sorry to say that electronic music in the GDR doesn't comes to such success like in Western for example and there are only two remarkable releases in electronic music style: this one and "Planetenwind" by Pond.
